GEARS è una pubblicazione trimestrale di tecnologia che si prefigge di analizzare il panorama mondiale dell’innovazione focalizzandosi sugli oggetti tecnologici che oggi ci circondano e utilizziamo quotidianamente più che sulla trattazione teorica.
Il futuro è ora: se pensiamo al futuro le prime cose che ci vengono in mente
sono gli scenari di "Ritorno al futuro" o "Blade Runner": veicoli senza pilota, robot, scarpe auto-allaccianti ecc. Quello di cui non ci rendiamo conto è che molte di queste innovazioni esistono già. Siamo immersi nel futuro ed è da questo presupposto che nasce GEARS.

GEARS is a quarterly publication of technology that aims to analyze the global innovation scene dealing with the topic in question thanks to the technological objects that surround us today more than on theoretical treatment.
The future is now: if we think of the future, the first things that come to mindare the "Back to the future" or "Blade Runner" scenarios: unmanned vehicles, robots, self-lacing shoes, etc. What we do not realize is that many of these innovations already exist. We are immersed in the future and it is from this premise that GEARS is born.

Siamo immersi in un ambiente che è caratterizzato dalla tecnologia, anzi è tecnologia: intelligenze artificiali presenti in ogni settore della società, cure e dispositivi che garantiscono una vita migliore e più lunga, automobili che si guidano da sole, sistemi che permettono transazioni sicure, energie rinnovabili. La rivista ricerca, seleziona e presenta le recenti e più interessanti innovazioni nell’ambito tecnologico.

We are immersed in an environment characterized by technology, rather it is itself technology: artificial intelligences are present in every sector of society, cures and devices that guarantee a better and longer life, cars that drive themselves, systems that allow secure transactions, energy renewable. The magazine therefore researches, selects and presents the latest and most interesting technological innovations.

La rivista è stata adattata per essere fruita digitalmente (tramite iPad), con l’aggiunta di contenuti interattivi a supporto degli articoli.

Al fine di costruire un ecosistema completo attorno al nome GEARS, sono stati progettati un sito web ed un’applicazione per smartphone come estensione dei servizi offerti da GEARS.

In order to build a complete ecosystem around the GEARS name, a website and smartphone application have been designed to extend the services offered by GEARS.
